Topic - SUP? Single Use Plastic - Alternatives and Solutions!

With the entire world contemplating their lives and choices, we realised that a lot of the facets of our lifestyle needs to be put under the microscope! We need to be a little more mindful of the things we consume or waste.
Our second meet up in collaboration with The Changemakers' Society, is a meet-up where we want to focus on actionable changes that we can adapt to. 
While plastic is dangerous to the environment, single use plastic poses a number of questions and challenges that we must combat. How can we reduce our use of Plastics? How can we adapt to alternatives? What are the feasible alternatives out there? 

We all know about the hazards of single use plastic - we've been studying it, read about it and heard about it for years,  but what can we actually do to reduce its use? What are some simple habits one can change in their daily life to reduce their contribution to the plastic waste generated? What are other steps we can take to cut down plastic usage?

The Changemakers’ Society is a group of like-minded and determined individuals, eager to bring about a sustainable campus and maintain clean surroundings, that try to raise awareness about waste generation and ways to reduce it, in the interest of a clean and green environment
