Dialogues with Cinema: Quentin Tarantino

Film fanatics always admire filmmakers and their seminal work. And if that same fanatic makes a film with artistic finesse, it turns out to be a masterpiece. Hence he or she becomes the ultimate film auteur.

Come join us as we discuss a maverick filmmaker who is a cinephile, more than anything else. The filmmaker who is known for long driven shots, sophisticated dialogues and who portrayed violence on screen in an aesthetic manner. As he said himself - "Violence is the most fun thing to watch". Here is the man who never went to film schools. Instead, he went to films.

Let's meet this month to break down his revolutionary style of filmmaking that has given birth to the term 'Tarantino-esque' and relive some of his iconic movies.

Date: Saturday, 31 October
Time: 7 - 9 p.m.

About the Community:
“I wish we could go to the movies."

I stared at him. "We're in a creepy dungeon. There's a chance I might die in the next few hours. You are going to die in the next few hours. And if you had one wish, it would be to catch a movie?”

― Rachel Hawkins, Demonglass

For our community members, it would be!
