What is String Art?

String Art, also known as Pin Art or Thread Art, is an art form where thread, wire, or string is wound around a grid of nails hammered into a wooden board. It's a perfect art form for DIY lovers. 

You can make many interesting images, using several different colours of threads to make something that not only looks amazing but can also be functional. Keyholders, photo frames, wall decor - you can make all of this and more with String Art. 

What will this workshop be about?

This particular String Art Workshop has been specially curated for beginners. You will be given guidance and step-by-step instructions throughout the different processes. 

You will learn the basics of the art form, which include:
- Nailing
- Threading
- A few pro tips 

Learn through practical application, making beautiful string artworks with the host. You can even take your finished pieces home!

Safety Precautions:
- Wearing a mask is a must. Participants will not be allowed entry without a mask.
- Maintain physical distancing at all times during the event. Minimise contact with fellow participants.
- Handwashes and sanitisers are placed at multiple points around our cafe. Kindly use them as often as you need.
