Stippling is an art form of populating the surface with dots with a varying density which reveals a picture or portrait. Usually sketched with black ink, the stippling technique results in a powerful image which is a result of billions of dots placed perfectly on the paper. During my days in the B-School took up art as a serious hobby. In search of tranquillity through art, I tried dozens of art forms. Pencil sketches, charcoal portraits, realistic object drawings with pencil, anamorphic art, and several more. Realistic object paintings and negative filter sketches were celebrated the most, and then I stumbled upon something unique - stippling. Stippling was definitely a bigger challenge. As effortless it looked, it took a toll on the time invested. Personally, I feel that stippling not only provides sheer satisfaction post-accomplishment, it also improves patience in a person. Staring at nothing but dots and waiting through the whole process just to get a sight of what you've created takes you to a different world altogether!
