Workspaces are common source of stress and anxiety for many of us, our professional experiences are laden with perpetual insecurity, fear, anxiety, feelings of powerlessness and harassment with occasional success. Studies indicate that that negative work environment can cause mental and physical health issues and negative impact on social and family well-being. Some of us are in the most passionate roles at workspaces but the negative experiences ruin our aims and stunt our Professioanl growth. We usually do not speak about the issues at workplace, whilst, speaking-up, taking and naming the fears and anxiety is the first and foremost attempt to work out the solutions. Narrative therapy engages in sharing adverse experiences and re-authoring the same for reduction of stress. Stories are a key part of this branch of therapeutic engagement and helps mapping the solutions with more control. The story session is meant for everyone who wish to restructure their workspace experiences and wish to gain control of their problems at work life. The sessions are open for employees form all domains of work, employers, team leaders, program managers, trainers, teachers, nurses, doctors, businessmen etc. Clinical psychologists, social workers and counsellors are also invited to enhance the process of story telling. Take aways to focus on learning strategies and techniques to re-author and edit our negative experiences at work.
